ANSWER

Section 8(1)(a) of the RTI Act, 2005 states that there is no obligation to give give any information to any citizen if the information, disclosure of which would prejudicially affect

–   The soverignity and integrityof India

–   The security, strategic, scientific or economic interests of the state,

–   Relation with foreign state or

–   Lead to incitement of an offence

 

Further Sec 8(1)(h) states that Information which would impede the process of

– Investigation or

– Apprehension or

– Prosecution of offenders;
